Great blog! Did my mother even know she ws in the middle of so many interesting people and how unusual that is, really? Yes, don't we remember Pat Clark, and wht a lovely lady! She was never married but always had a boyfriend. My first memory of her was when I was about 2, standing in front of her as she sat on the porch at Sachem's Head, and I was trying to tell her about a problem I was having with my "bykiko", which must have been a trycycle. And, of course, I loved that she would never tell anyone her age until she got into her 90s. I loved your stories about the ER, too. And, again, the research you did. This is such an entertaining project - but a lot of work for you, I know. Moi

Your grandmother's entry was my favorite thus far. So colorful and detailed, and I loved how she switched from topic to topic, and I loved how Lee typed his way to Buenos Aries so comfortably. And oh yes the coffee! And how life changes, but it also stays the same, and why the hell are we here? Ok, maybe that’s not what you were thinking, but your grandmother’s entry in juxtaposition with your accounts of the ER may have had something to do with it. But I guess my point is that your blog always makes me think, and now I am writing freely again, and am less self absorbed today.

You are right. Some things never change. Except for the clothes.

So sorry you've been in pain. Hope you are feeling better.

If it helps, the Saints are in the Superbowl! :)
