That made me laugh and think of my grandmother and my funny crazy Irish great-aunts. They loved their highballs! I was in a consignment shop a couple of summers ago and bought a "highball glass" that looked like the collection my grandmother owned. I made a highball in it once (a Manhattan I think) and it was aweful! I'll stick with red wine. It is great that one word can take you back and unearth memories and feelings. Lovin' the blog Suzanne!
